Sayan is a playwright and composer. Her plays and music have been performed all over the country from theatres to village halls.
She is also an actor, director, dramaturg and librettist/lyricist. She has been a visiting lecturer in playwriting; run adult drama classes, taught acting, and is a committee member of the West Midlands branch of the Writer’s Guild and a full member of Equity.
Sayan is delighted that Arts Council England, Coventry City of Culture Trust and Heart of England have supported the production of her new opera HER DAY to be performed as part of Coventry City of Culture in March 2022.
